Our leadership program is focused on helping & supporting youth in developing skills in leadership, team-building, communication, and problem solving, all while focusing on building a strong T1D community.
The program gives participants the knowledge and skills necessary to work and mentor children in recreational programs. The program is developed in two stages. This is a jam-packed 2 weeks, full of fun, memories, learning, growth and life experiences.
Learning & growth
Participants will work together and learn through a series of experiential and educational sessions while being engaged in the camp experience.
Try & support
Participants will gain an opportunity to work with mentors in a supportive environment, to gain experience working directly with children, and have the opportunity to practice being a leader in the camp community.
