T1D Kids Camp was created by a group of like-minded individuals and organizations that believe in camp, and that a diabetes camp program should be available to each family in their province. We are camping professionals and medical professionals from your diabetes clinics, and diabetes camp professionals with over 50 years of combined experience in operating camps for children living with type 1 diabetes across Canada.

We first started operating our programs back in 2018 and are continuing to run our programs each year due to the ongoing continuous support from the community, partners and volunteers. 

Our goals are to provide a safe, fun – yet educational, diabetes camping experience to children and youth through the amazing experience that is Camp.
